Focusing on "Safety & Resilience, Smart & Efficient"
he backdrop of accelerated new urbanization, the urban water supply industry is advancing toward a new stage of "qualitative improvement." To drive water supply systems in a safer, smarter, and more efficient direction, the "2025 (11th) Water Supply Conference," co-hosted by Water & Wastewater Engineering magazine and Fuzhou Water Affairs Group Co., Ltd., was successfully held in Fuzhou from May 12 to 14, 2025.

Themed "Safety & Resilience, Smart & Efficient," the conference featured various specialized forums and technical salons covering smart water management, water treatment plant upgrades, secondary water supply, pipeline operation and maintenance (O&M), and water quality monitoring. With over 100 technical reports published, the event attracted more than 100 exhibitors and 2,500+ industry professionals to exchange cutting-edge insights and practical experiences.
The event gathered representatives from government bodies, research institutes, universities, water utilities, and equipment manufacturers to discuss building a comprehensive drinking water safety guarantee system from "source to tap." As a supporting organizer, NordiTube proudly participated in the conference, collaborating with industry peers to drive the high-quality development of urban water supply.
Centered on the theme of "Safety & Resilience, Smart & Efficient," NordiTube joined industry peers to explore new pathways for the high-quality development of urban water supply.
During the conference, Mr. Ma Liwang, Director of the NordiTube Technology Center, was invited to deliver a keynote speech. He highlighted the innovative application of the company's core technology—Inversion Thermal Curing Technology (NordiFlow)—in the field of structural trenchless renewal for water supply networks.

Director Ma pointed out that this technology acts as a "minimally invasive surgery" for aging pipeline networks. It completes water supply pipeline rehabilitation without excavation or public disturbance, seamlessly revitalizing old pipelines. Originating from over 40 years of engineering practice in developed European countries, the solution boasts mature technology and stable processes, having been successfully implemented in numerous municipal projects. Capable of navigating bends, reinstating branch connections, and covering long single-installation distances, this technology effectively resolves critical issues such as aging, leakage, and maintenance difficulties in water supply systems.
The presentation received an enthusiastic response, fully demonstrating NordiTube's technological prowess and practical achievements in the fields of smart water management and infrastructure renewal.
Beyond the excellent presentation at the main forum, the NordiTube booth also drew a massive crowd. The on-site team of technical engineers provided detailed explanations on the trenchless rehabilitation process, material advantages, and typical case studies, attracting numerous attendees to stop by for in-depth exchanges. Many industry experts expressed deep interest in the "Smart Rehabilitation + Efficient Implementation" model, hoping to further explore collaboration opportunities.

Looking ahead, NordiTube will remain driven by technological innovation and continue to advance trenchless renewal technologies. We are dedicated to ensuring that water supply systems operate in a safer, more orderly, smarter, and more efficient manner, making substantial contributions to the development of new urban infrastructure!
